Come and join us for a week of fun and friendship.

What is it:  A seven-day camp in Kamloops to celebrate 100 years of Guiding.

When: July 24 – July 31, 2010

Who: Open to all members of Guiding.

Sparks may attend on a daily basis from 1 – 5 days. Brownies have the option of a two night camp – July 25 – 27 or July 28 – July 30 or they can choose to attend both sessions (they will go home July 27 and return on July 28) or they may register on a daily basis. Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers will attend July 24 – July 31.

Cost:

Sparks $12.00 per day
Brownies $100.00 per 3 day session or $20.00 per day
Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers $2600.00 per patrol

Sparks and Brownies must be in patrols of 5 with 1 Guider accompanying them. Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers must be in patrols of 8 with 2 Guiders accompanying them. One Patrol Guider must have a First Aid Certificate.

Registration:

Registration forms can be filled in on-line but completed forms must be mailed to Judy Teshima – 998 Crestline St., Kamloops, BC V2B 5Y1. The registration must be accompanied by a deposit cheque for $50 (Sparks), $80 (Brownies) or $200.00 (all others) payable to Girl Guides of Canada. When your registration has been accepted you will be notified by email. The balance of the registration fee will be due in three payments, due December 15, February 15 and April 15. Post dated cheques for Feb. and April payments should be sent with the December payment.

Early in 2010 Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers will receive details of the activities available for them to choose from. Girls will be allocated to the activities on a first come first served basis.

Parents can be used for ratio as long as one Guider from each Unit is present. Parents must complete a Police Record Check for Girl Guides of Canada and be registered as a non-member.
